Synopsis: Join Stage School Australia for their Brisbane production of the beloved musical, "The Wizard of Oz." Follow Dorothy and her friends as they journey through the magical land of Oz to find their hearts' desires while learning valuable lessons along the way.
Audition Date: Submission Deadline: Friday, 5 July 2024
Audition Requirements:
Prepare a 16-bar Musical Theatre song from the provided selections using a General American accent.
Record in a mid-shot (waist up), well-lit and framed, with clear visibility and audibility.
Upload as ‘Unlisted’ on YouTube or Vimeo, including full name in the description.

Available Roles: Various roles for performers aged 10-19 including Dorothy, Scarecrow, Tin Man, Lion, Glinda, Wicked Witch, Wizard, and ensemble roles.
Audition Registration: Submit audition video via email to casting@stageschool.com.au. Include name, date of birth, current Stage School Australia group (if applicable), performing experience summary, and link to audition video.

Other information:
Participation fee of $120 includes tuition, production costs, costume, set, props, and venue hire.
Additional $30 for souvenir cast T-shirt.
Each performer must sell a minimum of 20 tickets.
Ticket prices: $30 (Weekday Matinees), $35 (Evenings & Saturday Matinee).
