Announcing: Hairspray Jr. Holiday Workshop and Auditions!
About Hairspray Jr.: Set in 1962, the story follows Tracy Turnblad's dream to dance on the popular "Corny Collins Show." Her journey transforms her from a social outcast to a sudden star. As Tracy balances newfound power with a quest for justice, she challenges the reigning Miss Teen Hairspray and advocates for TV network integration. With the support of her mum, Edna, and guest DJ, Motormouth Maybelle, Tracy's new beat becomes unstoppable.
Auditions for Lead & Supporting Roles:

Auditions are by application only, and participation in the Holiday Camp is a prerequisite for auditioning.
Unsuccessful audition candidates will still be part of the production as ensemble.
Holiday Workshop Details:

Time: 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
Location: Alchemy Studios Brisbane, Lutwyche
Performances:
Dates: Saturday, 13/04/2024 (and possibly Sunday, 14/04/2024 - to be confirmed)
Times: 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm
Location: Stagehouse Theatre, Hayward Street, Stafford
The workshop cost includes one complimentary ticket. Additional tickets can be purchased online for $35.00 each.

Requirements:
Open to participants of all levels aged 9 to 17
No previous experience required for ensemble roles
Lead and supporting roles will be decided through auditions
