About the Program (SENIORS)
This production is part of our Elite SENIOR Program for students in Grades 10 to 12. Many of our SENIOR students are wishing to pursue a career in the arts while others are here for the love of musical theatre. If you love to sing, act and dance, this course could be right for you.
Synopsis: Set against the dazzling backdrop of 1950s Broadway, Curtains is a darkly comedic murder mystery filled with toe-tapping numbers and unexpected twists. When the leading lady of a troubled musical dies on opening night, the cast and crew become suspects. Enter Lieutenant Frank Cioffi, a detective and theatre enthusiast, who must solve the crime while ensuring the show goes on. With music by John Kander and lyrics by Fred Ebb (Chicago, Cabaret), this musical captures the heart of Broadway with a contemporary flair.

Auditions: Saturday, 25th January 2025 (10:00 am – 3:30 pm)
Callbacks: Saturday, 25th January 2025 (4:00 pm – 7:30 pm)
Audition Time: Auditionees will be scheduled for 90-minute sessions

Audition Requirements: Auditions will be workshop-style to ensure a relaxed and fun experience, focusing on finding the best roles for each performer.
