🌈 HAIR AUDITIONS: Join the Tribe!
Explore the social and cultural phenomenon of the late 1960s with "Hair," a jubilant celebration of life, freedom, and protest against war. Gold Coast Little Theatre invites you to audition for this iconic musical, where peace, love, and happiness take centre stage.
AUDITION DETAILS:
BEFORE AUDITIONING: Ensure you are comfortable with themes such as drug use, war, racial slurs, sexual content, and death.
AUDITION PROCESS:
Round One: Prepare a 2-3 minute song from the 60s or 70s (pop, rock, folk, or musical theatre). Upload by 5 pm, 4th March.
Round Two (Callbacks): Scheduled for Sunday, 10th March, starting at 10 am. Successful applicants will receive materials to prepare, including a dance call.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
Rehearsals: Sundays, Mondays, and Wednesdays at GCLT (Southport) and NAPA Studios (Burleigh).
Nudity: Not compulsory for all performers.
Age Requirement: Casting strictly 18+
Production Dates: 29th June – 20th July. All performers must be available for all performances.
