About the Play
Playwright: Tennessee Williams
Synopsis: The play follows Blanche DuBois, a former Southern belle who, after a series of personal losses, moves into a shabby apartment in New Orleans with her sister Stella and brother-in-law Stanley. It is a critically acclaimed exploration of themes such as aggression, desire, and deception, set against the backdrop of 1940s New Orleans.
