Synopsis: In a breathtaking exploration of time and evolution, The Next 14 Seconds dives into humanity’s brief, yet powerful, presence in the cosmos. The piece explores how humans, within their small cosmic moment, have innovated, evolved, and transformed — yet now find themselves on the brink of significant change. Through an intense mix of dance, theatre, and visual and sound design, this work reflects on what humans have achieved and the toll it has taken on the world around us. Choreographed by Nerida Matthaei and featuring an ensemble of five dancers, this world premiere poses a timely question: in the next 14 seconds, what would you change?
