COMEDIC THEATRE: Disney Off Ice - Observatory Theatre

28 Feb 2025

Season: February 28th - March 9th, 2025

Title: Disney Off Ice

Presented By: Observatory Theatre

Genre: Theatre, Comedy, Satire

Synopsis: Disney Off Ice is a hilarious and thought-provoking satirical play by Oliver Gough, lampooning the legendary Walt Disney. The production imagines if the infamous theory of his cryonic freezing were true, following Disney as he wakes up in the modern world to find everything has changed. The theme parks are gone, and he now belongs to a media conglomerate with a strict publicist trying to navigate his re-entry into society. The play humorously explores what Disney would think of today's world, with themes of capitalism, nostalgia, and the modern media landscape.
